Quella faccia da bravo ragazzo: la mia esperienza con Jimmy Cenedella

 Good evening everyone. I'm here to tell you about my experience inside Jimmy Cenedella 's RCA academy , the remote closers one, so to speak.

HOOKUP

After seeing several sponsorships from different influencers on Instagram, especially Deianira Marzano and Amedeo Venza , I was struck by Jimmy Cenedella's good boy face. On July 10, 2023, I commented on a post by Jimmy C. on Instagram and in no time I was contacted directly from his page through one of his collaborators. This collaborator followed me until the onboarding in the RCA ACCADEMY company and subsequently on whatsapp as support in case of doubts or requests.

PUSH TO CLOSURE

The constant messages (4/5 per day) insistently invited me to watch videos regarding training in their academy as soon as possible, so that I could decide to make an appointment with the seller as soon as possible as they were overwhelmed with requests. After watching a presentation by Jimmy C., sent to me privately, in which the offer was presented in detail, I filled out a questionnaire regarding what I could spend and what my economic goal would be to reach.

CLOSING APPOINTMENT

So on July 14th through the Calendly platform I set the appointment for July 19th 2023 at 11 am.

The day before I was informed by Jimmy Cenedella's assistant, via whatsapp, that I would have to decide directly on the call whether to accept or not and pay at the same time because the places at the academy were running out. After recommending seriousness and punctuality, at the video call appointment the RCA salesman on behalf of Jimmy C. arrives almost twenty minutes later.

I find myself in front of a boy physically similar to Jimmy: same clean face and a white and bare wall behind him. The thing that reassured me from the beginning is that they had asked me to bring with me anyone who could help me in the decision-making phase, so I thought that to do this they had to be serious and transparent. Who risks having a witness if they want to screw you? So I instantly became the ideal lead. From the beginning I was accompanied by my older sister (I just want to point out that we both had a decent career at Carrefour and we are not inexperienced).

THE PROMISES

We listen raptly to the promises that are made. Access to the RCA online course with pre-recorded lessons so you can watch them multiple times. Three weekly live sessions with the coach specialized in student training (with times agreed upon based on the needs of the participants), the possibility of comparing yourself with other students and more: explanations and role play, different coaches available via WhatsApp at any time but, above all, a telegram group where students can compare and agree to train privately (keep this telegram group in mind). And that wasn't all: the possibility of seeing on YouTube, with the use of a specific link, testimonials from students who in a very short time earn 5000 euros a month working only three/four hours a day (from home).

Then we come to the moment of guarantees/promises: Placement in the company after about 2 months (average time to become a remote closer), receiving, after having passed the exam with the coach, the official certificate as a professional remote closer issued by the RCA. The companies they collaborate with only sell high-ticket products/services that pay 10% net commission.

So I was given a quick calculation of how little I would have had to work to earn huge amounts and above all to recover my investment in a very short time. But, above all, if the earnings had not arrived in the standard times mentioned above (two/three months) they would have followed me until I reached the amount to recover the investment (maybe even taking a year).

We also asked if my age (44 years) could affect my entry into the companies they collaborate with and I was assured that it would not be a limitation.

GUARANTEE

At the time of payment we ask how we can have the guarantee that everything we were told was true. At that point, the seller tells us that as soon as the payment was made, I would receive, in addition to the access link to the course, the contract with everything that had been offered to me and the related guarantees. The value of the investment is 2000 euros but, since I am exactly the typical student they are looking for, just for me, at that precise moment, the price would have been only 1000 euros.

And what do you do? With all these premises and promises you don't pay? And then with a 50% discount, to boot!

I trusted them, I made an immediate transfer to a Belgian account and the game (theirs) was up.

SETTER LESSONS

The real experience within the Academy begins here.

On July 19, 2023, I am officially on the path. Since it was a real investment in my future, I immediately took it very seriously and pointed out that by doing a summer job from then until September, I could not be 100% present.

My reference coaches have always stressed very calmly that the responsibility for reaching my goals sooner or later, and therefore being placed in the company, was mine alone.

QUALITY LESSONS

The first alarm bells came a few days after the purchase, when I asked the WhatsApp representative why I wasn't receiving the documents requested during the sales call. No invoice, no contract and nothing that validated what had been guaranteed. The answer was very vague. At first it was an internet problem, then a system problem. In the end I never received anything.

In the service with the coaches' live sessions, they set the times themselves and often (from the first day to mid-September) 2 times out of 3 they would skip without warning.

I asked the contact person on WhatsApp for explanations and he always replied very simply that if after 10 minutes of waiting I had not seen the coach connect to the Zoom platform, it meant that there would not be a live session (I have the screenshots)

JIMMY'S OFFER

On August 22, 2023 Jimmy C intervenes on the telegram group to offer a gift to students, offering a free consultation with the first coach who worked with him in the company, calling him a mindset expert. After the first consultation, if you wanted to continue a short course with him, the cost would have been 2000 euros. Here too Jimmy C rushed as there were few places available.

EXTRA SALE

I decide to book the free consultation with MM, a supposed mindset expert, on meet and I do it through the calendly platform for August 29, 2023 at 4:30 pm. To do this, I take time off work.

I connect promptly but no one shows up. At 4:50 pm I ask my contact on WhatsApp for explanations and he responds in this way (exact words taken from the message I still have) “ Hi Aurelia, yes: if Michele hasn't let you know anything it must be because he has already found the people he could follow ”.

At that moment I got very angry and my supervisor said that unfortunately he couldn't do anything more than apologize, as what had happened didn't depend directly on him.

DISAGREED STUDENTS: FIRST ANSWERS

On September 26th a girl complained on the telegram group that things were not going as agreed, complaining that she had paid for something different.

Immediately the mindset expert coach MM intervened on the telegram group, explaining that the fault was only of the students who were unable to change their attitude and that complaints would not get them anywhere. He also added that, in case of further complaints, they would close the group.

ANOTHER OFFER FROM JIMMY

On September 6, 2023, Jimmy C intervened on the Telegram group saying to send video applications to a certain Francesco Asso , who was looking for closers.

I made the video application and forwarded it to Mr. Asso on Telegram, but it was never even viewed, as can be seen from the single receipt checkmark. This also applied to 4/5 other students who wrote it on the Telegram group.

In the meantime I continued studying and doing role plays (3 per week) which were always the same and simulated the sale of their own course.

It was during that slow journey that a certain awareness came to me. The things they taught me and that I had to say were actually the same things that had been said to me during the purchase phase and the explanation implied that the lead had to be forced to buy regardless of his economic or mental situation (unfortunately I don't have any recorded role plays, but they are the same concepts explained in the lessons of Jimmy C's course)

THE COURSE TO SELL THE COURSE

What happened to me I should have done to others, this is their idea of ​​'closer'. They pushed to stop at nothing; I was already in and I continued with commitment until I prepared for my exam, even if I felt that something was not going right.

Applying for the exam had become difficult, as since the day I joined the company the number of students had increased exponentially (at least thirty more students). So, being able to speak to the coach present at the live sessions meant receiving a response after at least 3/4 days. I leveraged the fact that, having joined the academy on July 19, 2023, I had priority over the new arrivals and I managed to book my exam which was simply done during one of the usual role play training sessions for October 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.

At that time I am told that there is a girl who is in a hurry and therefore my exam is postponed by an hour.

The exam consisted of a role play where you had to sell Jimmy C's course to another random student by simulating a video call. In the end I passed this exam, with many compliments from the coach.

Following what was promised at the beginning of the course, from that moment begins the dream of entering the company that will change my life.

EXAM: DONE!

After the exam I am immediately contacted via voice message on WhatsApp by the coach who had supervised my exam. He asks me how old I am, if I am available full time and my family situation.

He tells me that he intends to place me in a company, without naming names. He then claims that this company makes big numbers, without specifying its turnover. Even if they are looking for younger people, he will do everything to convince them that I am still the right one.

INTERVIEW (?)

I am called on Saturday afternoon, October 7, 2023 by a consultant from the Fenice Accademy company , who asks me a few questions about my resume, private life, VAT number that I should have opened to work with them and full-time availability. After that, they point out that they are doing other interviews and will let me know after a few days.

Not hearing from them for over a week I call them back (I don't remember the exact day). They tell me that the interview session is not over yet.

In the end I never heard from them again.

I also ask the coach for explanations, who simply answers me with a laconic: “ I'll transfer you to another company .”

INTERVIEW FORMS (!)

My coach forwarded me a form to fill out online (I still have the link to it), which does not indicate which company it is, nor the job title sought.

I fill it out, but obviously this application also falls on deaf ears (given that I was not told when or if I would receive a response).

Yet another request for explanations, yet another “ I’ll pass you on to another company ”. This without further explanations. In the meantime, 10 days had passed since the first failed interview.

INTRODUCTORY VIDEOCALL

On October 18, 2023, I was contacted by a certain Chady ( Danilo Calabrese 's right-hand man ) who set up a video call on zoom to get to know me. In his opinion, he told me that I was right for them and that we would have two more meetings. He also disappeared without giving any explanation.

On October 21, 2023, Danilo Calabrese wrote to me directly, asking me how I had agreed with his right-hand man. From the moment I pointed out that I had not heard from him, he set up a video call with him for October 24, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

At 6:17 PM, since no one had shown up, I sent a message asking if I had made a mistake in the time. The response came at 6:42 PM with Mr. Calabrese who wrote me a dry: “ I’m done now ” (he didn’t tell me what) and that we had to postpone to a date to be determined.

WE TALK TO EACH OTHER!

On October 26, 2023, having not heard from him, I send him a message. He schedules a video call on zoom at 6:00 PM that same day.

We meet and the interview according to him goes very well and he tells me that he would let me know the specifics so that I can start working with them. Without specifying details regarding specific tasks, the following day Friday October 27, 2023 or at the latest the following Monday October 30, 2023.

From that moment he also disappears.

TALKS & DISAPPEARANCES

note: this same interview/disappearance process happened to another girl (whose name I won't mention because since we've created bonds of friendship I don't want to create problems for them).

The same day (October 26, 2023) I wrote to the reference coach that the interview had gone well and I also tried to ask if there was the possibility of working with them in the RCA academy. I did not receive any kind of response.

NAME EXCHANGE BETWEEN GURU

In the following days I start exchanging information with other students via private chats.

The companies that were proposed, the ones that made you do the interviews were always the same and by gathering information I realized they were not very reliable. They were almost always:

CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENT (?)

Also in those days I saw a sponsored testimonial of a student of the RCA Academy who was earning significant amounts of money in a very short time.

Too bad that this person and I were, and still are, in personal contact and the testimony was blatantly false.

In total silence since my last conversation with Danilo Calabrese, both from him and from my reference coach, on November 6, 2023 I wrote a message to my reference coach where I pointed out that I had turned to a lawyer to obtain a refund, as what I had been told during the purchase phase had not turned out to be the case and I had no more intention of wasting time, also considering that I needed to work.

From here I begin to have difficulty explaining, because you would have to read and listen to the messages between me, my reference coach, the coach who accompanied me onboarding in the company, Jimmy Cenedella himself and finally MM, or the alleged mindset expert (I have almost all the material to support what I say since July 19, 2023), but I will try to be as clear as possible.

WHOSE FAULT IS IT?

My reference coach told me that if the interview didn't go well he couldn't do anything about it (the interview, according to Danilo Calabrese, however, had gone well) and that he wasn't responsible for how the companies they proposed behaved.

A series of messages followed where the tone became heated and ended with a "do you want to start with another company or not? ". Without offering me anything because I said that I was no longer interested in their less than serious companies.

REFUND REQUEST

At that point I decide to write directly to Jimmy C on Instagram to ask for a refund!

At first, it wasn't him who responded, but the coach who had contacted me in July after my interest in the course.

The arguments are always the same: they support you until you find the right company and they don't abandon their students. I remain firm on the fact that I feel deceived, since I have not received feedback from the interviews done, some have never happened and that they had promised to have relationships with companies already up and running, ready to hire, where you could work even 4 hours a day and where age was not a problem. I add that I have never received a contract, invoice or certificate and I reiterate once again that I want a refund.

JIMMY REAPPEARS

On November 9, 2023, Jimmy C. appears in a direct message on Instagram. Our conversation continues until December 4, 2023 (The audio messages are no longer listenable, I don't know why).

The only thing I can get is an invoice for the payment. As for the rest, he put the blame on me and on the fact that they did what they promised.

Lastly, I ask for the certificate (during the sales phase it was said that after the exam I would receive the certificate from a professional remote closer) as I was entitled to it.

I was told to contact MM (the mindset expert) because he would get me everything.

FROM THE BEGINING (!)

On December 6, 2023, I contacted MM and, via WhatsApp, I was told that from that moment on, he would be the one to evaluate the exams and that I would therefore have to repeat it with him. Basically, starting from the beginning. The previous exam was a joke.

At that point I lose my temper (starting over again after months is frustrating, in addition to being the one who was put at fault and never the paid service) and. in response, I am told that that is why I can't find work, because I have a head that is not even good enough to work in a factory (I have proof of everything I'm saying). In practice they have moved on to making me feel guilty and inadequate in a direct way.

I don't even answer his last voice message, in which he denies that I was told that I would receive a contract after the transfer (absolutely false). I'm waiting and evaluating what to do.

THE COMMENT ON FUFFLIX: THEY ARE MOVING TO THREATS

On December 17, 2023, I see a post on the Fufflix FB group that talks about them and I decide to comment, telling my experience.

What comes out of it a few hours later is absurd (proof that they read Fufflix constantly!).

I start receiving messages on WhatsApp from MM, who accuses me of defamation and urges me in an agitated tone to withdraw what I said, as he will take legal action against me.

OTHER PERSONAL ATTACKS

In the audios sent to me personally I am questioned as a person, because from my Facebook profile photo I do not seem serious and that would be the reason why I would not have been taken by the companies. Plus other things regarding me personally that for now I would prefer not to write.

GROUP BULLYING

The same dynamic, that is, attacking me as a person incapable of using their services and being accused of defaming people who work seriously, I relive it on the Telegram student group (about 100 people registered), where I am mentioned and tagged as a defamatory, problematic and invited to participate in a live on zoom the following day, to be blatantly denied by the students who, unlike me, made it (almost a trial in the square with everyone against).

Obviously I did not participate, but I have been told by reliable sources (people present in this live zoom) that he, in tears, spoke about me blaming me for having committed a very serious act against them, ruining the work of serious people who are committed and work seriously.

On December 19, 2023, I received a final message from MM, telling me to prove with evidence what I said, otherwise they will proceed with legal action against me for defamation and slander. Without a response from me, they will proceed.

To date I have not responded, especially as a customer dissatisfied with their services to get a refund. What I got were only personal attacks to make me feel inadequate and legal threats. I had not asked for training, but I had bought the idea of ​​job placement as a remote closer
